Hard mesh is the most basic type of mesh. This type of mesh is coated with a nylon covering. When you hold it in your fingers, it feels hard. This type of mesh offers only basic resistance to the weather. It needs time to break in. The benefit is that this type of mesh holds its shape and provides consistency.
East Coast Mesh
This mesh is softer than hard mesh. This allows the ball to feel better when it is in your pocket. It also is coated with a wax that provides better ball grip. It will perform well in all types of weather.
String King Mesh
This has become one of the fastest grow type of mesh available on the market. This is partly due to its great variety of both hard and soft varieties. The harder string king mesh needs less “breaking in”. The softer versions of string king lacrosse mesh is much more responsive. It also provides lacrosse mesh that is completely waterproof.
